Why the fault can remain after other repairs
A DPF clean or unrelated engine repair does not automatically resolve an additive-pump, circuit or fluid-level problem. Stored data and the post-repair scan need comparing so that resolved issues are separated from faults that remain active or require confirmation.

Is PAT fluid the same as AdBlue?
No. They serve different functions. The exact system and fluid fitted to the vehicle must be identified before work is carried out.
Can an additive fault affect DPF regeneration?

Does replacing the pump finish the job?
