When to bring us in

Extra capability.
Without extra theatre.

Use Engine Clean when a vehicle has moved beyond routine workshop time, when an evidence trail matters or when a fresh technical view protects the next decision.

01

Recurring fault after repair

Compare the original complaint, work completed and current vehicle evidence before another part is ordered.

02

Dealer or warranty fact-find

Record accessible condition, diagnostics and limitations in a form that the business and customer can follow.

03

Difficult diagnostic handover

Bring in specialist electrical, ECU, network or emissions testing while keeping the referring workshop informed.

04

Pre-sale or post-purchase concern

Establish present condition and priorities when a vehicle needs a clear route before sale, return or repair.

Built around workshop reality

We can start there.
Then move the job here.

One of the strongest advantages is flexibility: an initial inspection may happen at your premises or with the customer, then workshop time, collection or delivery can be arranged where the evidence shows it is required.

  1. 01
    Brief the job properly

Registration, mileage, reported fault, previous work, scan reports and the exact question you need answered.

  2. 02
    Initial inspection or diagnostic

We establish whether the next step can be completed mobile or needs workshop access and equipment.

  3. 03
    Workshop route where required

Collection, delivery or recovery can be considered where applicable and separately agreed.

  4. 04
    Evidence back to the trade

Findings, limitations and recommendations are returned through the communication route agreed at booking.

Clear from the beginning

Useful boundaries
protect everybody.

Scope before attendanceThe question, available history, access and expected output are agreed first.

Testing before conclusionsFault descriptions and customer accounts guide the work; they do not replace it.

No hidden handoverDirect customer contact or further repair only happens through the agreed authority route.

Trade pricing by scopeRepeat and pre-filtered work can be agreed on a trade basis; travel, recovery and specialist testing remain job-specific.

Before the first job

Trade inspection
questions answered.

Will Engine Clean take over our customer?

No. The communication route is agreed at booking. We can report back to the referring business and communicate with the vehicle owner only where that has been authorised.

Can you inspect a vehicle at our premises?

Yes, where access and working conditions are suitable. Mobile attendance is useful for an initial fact-find; workshop equipment or extended testing may require the vehicle to come to us.

Do you offer collection and delivery?

Where applicable. Availability, distance, vehicle condition and recovery requirements are confirmed for each job.

Can you condemn a component from the fault-code description?

No. A code is evidence that a control unit detected a condition. Component testing, circuit checks, live data or further inspection may be needed before a repair route is justified.

How is trade work priced?

Pre-filtered and repeat work can be quoted on an agreed trade basis. Scope, travel, testing time, report depth and workshop requirements are confirmed before work starts.

Keep the customer. Keep control. Add the evidence.
