Complex Vehicle Faults & Repairs in the North West
Some problems cross electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Our job is to connect the evidence and create a repair route that addresses the fault as a whole.

Start with what
the vehicle is doing.
You do not need a technical explanation before calling. Clear symptoms and honest history give us the right place to begin.
- Several systems reporting faults
- Repair has not solved the complaint
- Software and hardware issues overlap
- Unusual wiper, suspension or sensor faults
- Garage needs specialist technical support
How we solve it
Test. Understand. Then act.
Map the fault
We separate likely causes from knock-on codes and symptoms.
Test across systems
Electrical, network, software and mechanical evidence is compared.
Plan and verify
The repair route follows the evidence, with checks afterwards where appropriate.
Mobile and workshop support
Convenience first.
Workshop depth when needed.
Suitable initial inspections and diagnostic visits can be carried out at your home, workplace or trade premises around Burnley and Lancashire.
When the fault needs extended monitoring, lifting equipment, dismantling or deeper bench testing, we can arrange workshop time in Padiham. Collection and delivery may be available where appropriate.
Discuss the symptomsWhat is the difference between a fault-code scan and vehicle diagnostics?
A scan reports codes stored by control units. Proper diagnostics uses those codes as clues, then checks live data, circuits, signals, mechanical conditions and the vehicle’s history to identify the cause. Engine Clean does not treat a code description as proof that a named part has failed.
Can you diagnose a fault another garage has not been able to fix?
We regularly take on unresolved and intermittent faults. Tell us what the vehicle does, when it happens and what has already been tested or replaced. That history helps us avoid repeating work and build the next test plan; whether the cause can be confirmed depends on the fault and the evidence available.
How long does vehicle diagnostics take?
There is no honest fixed time for every fault. A straightforward failure may be identified quickly; an intermittent electrical or network fault may need extended monitoring. We explain the initial diagnostic stage and update you when the evidence changes the scope.
